Portrait Sessions: use the links on this page to navigate booking online. Please choose an outdoor or indoor location within 20 miles of Baltimore, MD. The booking calendar times are already aligned with midday lighting for indoor locations and sunrise/sunset lighting for outdoor locations.

Mini Sessions: require a 50% retainer fee to book your session. Once the retainer is paid and the contract is signed, you're booked. The remaining 50% invoice is sent via email and is due the day before your session. Maryland sales tax, 6%, is applied to all payments.

I recommend booking as soon as session dates are launched because availability is limited and spots fill fast.

My style is vibrant. My approach to photography is visual storytelling. ​ Your portrait session is an investment and I want it to be an intentional experience. It starts with connection. I start every session with a few moments for you to get warmed up and comfortable, then begin with the timeless "look at the camera and smile". My process after that is providing you with directions and prompts to evoke emotion, movement and making art. To me, the photo galleries I deliver are a body of artwork and each gallery is a unique story. Life is busy and in my experience, setting the tone starts in the weeks leading up to your session. Chat with your family about the process and expectations ahead of time, curate a fashion forward look that you are all excited about and then make your photo session the highlight of your day. I promise the result will be photos you love.

There is no limit to the amount of people included because families come in all sizes. However, the more people, the less photo combinations.

I want everyone involved in your session to have the best experience while being photographed. Below are answers to the most frequently asked questions but please reach out to me to discuss how I can meet the needs of those with a physical disability, intellectual disability, vision impairment, hearing impairment or any other conditions that requires an accommodated setting.

Inside the Studio: I provide instructions on how to access the studio entrance via stairs on the side but the front of the building entrance has an elevator, the studio is located on the 2nd floor and there are signs that lead to my studio door.

Outside the Studio: This location has parking next to where we will be taking photos and there is flat pavement.

Other locations: I intentionally only get permits to locations that have parking and easy navigation to where we will be taking photos.

If sensitivity to light or sound is a concern, I recommend my studio as your location because it is a controlled setting.

If elopement (running away/wandering) is a concern, I recommend my studio as your location because it is an enclosed setting.

If communication is a concern for hearing impairment, vision impairment or non-speaking individuals, please reach out to me in advance so we can chat about meeting your needs.

When choosing outfits and shoes please keep in mind that some of the direction I provide includes sitting, kneeling, laying down and walking around the location.

When final photos are ready you will receive a link to an online gallery where your photos can be downloaded to a computer or mobile device.

I do not share photos on social media, sometimes I share photos on my website for location examples, which are only of those 18 years and older.

I book sessions on Sunday only and the booking links on this page are aligned with my availability

Outdoors: Within 2 hours of sunrise or sunset is when lighting is best for glowy photos. Midday light is harsh, bright and shadowy.

Indoors: I schedule in the afternoon to get bright light coming through windows.

Night: Any time after dusk I use a combination of on-camera or off-camera flash and light stands.

Absolutely! I want to see all of this great planet. Travel is included within 20 miles of Baltimore, Maryland. Travel fees apply to any locations outside of that area.

Due to the nature of Mini Sessions, rescheduling is not possible because they involve a location permit. Outdoor mini sessions are only rescheduled for weather reasons like: rain, snow or severe wind. If Outdoor Mini Sessions are rescheduled, it will be to a new date only. Indoor mini sessions are never rescheduled.
