Sarah and Joe got married on a Monday at their favorite park surrounded by a few family and friends. I am so thankful they chose me to capture their special day because it made me find a new appreciation for our own wedding. I have always wanted a big fancy over the top wedding but during the planning process we kept changing our date and location and theme and everything, we would push it back and then move it up, by the time we got married I just didn't care about the details anymore. The marriage is what I wanted and I will always say: I never had the wedding of my dreams but I have a husband and marriage better than I could have ever dreamed of. When chatting with Sarah on the phone I just knew their wedding day would be the simple, love-filled, stress-free day that she wanted. The rain cleared at the perfect time for their first look and the ceremony was held in front of a warm fireplace. Mini cupcakes from the bestest bakery, Flavor Cupcakery, and light refreshments were the perfect touch. Everything from her dress, to her hairpiece, to her shoes, to her earring were gorgeous, Joe looked sharp too ;) and their sign "Living in Sin No More" just might have been my favorite of the day, I love couples with a sense of humor!
